The Arc of My Silver Bow

Many, many moons ago, I had this idea for a company. It was called Silver Bow. I chose the name because I have always loved mythology (and, at the advice of my best college buddy, even chose Classics as a double major at Tufts). Silver Bow is a reference to Artemis, the huntress, and her glorious silver bow.

The funny part about it was that, when I chose the name, I wasn’t even sure what the mission of my company was or what I was going to do. At the time that my idea began percolating, I was coaching youth basketball — a natural fit after years on high school, travel, and college teams. So almost two decades ago, I had a name, and a vague dream, that was ready to be applied to… something!

So now fast forward. I graduated college and become a social worker which ultimately led to a position as a school principal in an out-of-district special education school in the Bronx. My beautiful children came into the world, and we ultimately moved to Massachusetts. It was at this point that I began to work virtually, and over the years since, have had the opportunity to partner with many different companies in the operations and digital marketing sphere.

I’ve now come full circle and have grabbed my Silver Bow — ready to launch some arrows — after all these years. I’m glad to be here and excited to work with you!
